Dear VUE development team,

I would like to have the possibility to change link anchoring to be able to come out with something similar to the format in the left graph, as opposed to what VUE offers, which is pictured in the right graph:

I know I can put links behind, but that does not achieve the same result, and makes it more difficult as sometimes you have to guess the end of a link if it is in the back.
As I understand, VUE links go from the center of the node to the center of the other node.
I wish VUE offered another anchoring instead of the center of the node. Ideally, this anchor would be the sortest path between the edges of the linked nodes. But if this calculation is too costly, the second best is offer some anchors left and right as DIA (http://live.gnome.org/Dia) does.

I hope you find it worthy enough.

Regards
