Hi everyone,

After I add resources into VUE, it seems to use absolute path to find the resources. The trouble is , if I copy the .vue file and resource files into another location, then the .vue can no longer find the resources. Can I make the VUE use relative path, based on the .vue file path, to locate the resources? Thanks.

Also, as an alternative, you could open the map as text in a text editor and find/replace all instances of your common path with the relative portion of it.

If your intention is to prepare an html file to share your map, I have other solution. It is a little tricky, but its ok.

Make your map in your usual way and save it in the same directory, with all its files.
Now you have a little boring work. In all nodes with files, select it and:

  • Press Content menu, Edit URL, and remove the path to the file. Leave only the file name. The image disappear. Undo this action (CTRL + Z)

  • Do the same: content menu, edit URL, you just leave the file name (and extesion, of course). Now, you can see the image. (you have to do the same twice)

  • When you export your map as HTML, you can distribute the html map with all files in the same directory. People can open the web page of the map and double click in all its files. THEY WILL OPEN PERFECTLY!!.
