I would like to use this excellent Vue to make visual maps and storyboards.
I have Vue installed on Xp with 2GB RAM. Working with JPEG images (height 2448) I get no thumbnail but "Missing Image" amd "Error: Java heap space". How can I fix this error?
Thank you.

We are currently using Java's default max heap size when running VUE, we plan to raise the max heap size in a release very soon. However, if you want to adjust your own heap size, navigate to your VUE installation folder, (by default C:Program Filesvue) and open the file vue.lax in your favorite text editor (notepad for example) add the following line at the end of the file:

lax.nl.java.option.java.heap.size.max=1000000000

That will set your max heap to 1GB. If you're currently running VUE you'll have to restart it.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need any additional information.

Unfortunatly I get the an error message: Could not find the main class. Program will exit.
Then the fiel cannot be erased and the program must be reinstalled.

Thanks

Sorry to hear you're still having problems. If you'd like me to look at this further email me your vue.lax file and I will take a look:
