Is there a way to add hidden notes to nodes that can be viewed either in presentation mode or with a click of a button? Alternatively I could create individual text files for each node that I need a note for and then link that node but I feel the process could be more streamlined if VUE had an inline text editor. Does anyone know if such a feature already exists? I tried to look for it but couldn't find anything.

Oh awesome. I found out you could add notes in "Slide Edit" but now I have no idea how to leave slide view unfortunately.

Hello,

I am not sure if this qualifies as "hidden" for you, but you can add "notes" to "nodes" the following way:

Right-click on the node you want to annotate. This will bring a context-menu. Choose "Add Notes" --> Type your note in the "Node Notes" field which comes up.
The note is now a mouse-over note. A small pen icon in the left part of the node indicates that the node possesses a note. When you mouse-over the pen the note will come up. This even works in the html-version of the map.

Cheers,

Jan
