I am currently making use of VUE to manage two software development projects I am working on and VUE is proving itself an excellent tool to keep track of references, sketches, online and offline links and workflow documentation.
I even managed to open the source code I develop from inside VUE into an external text editor and go back to VUE after saving and closing the particular source file I am using so it integrates well with my way of working.
The trouble I am starting to have is that my map is getting large to the point where the planner is showing the nodes as dots and I am no longer sure which on is the one i am looking for next.
The ability to follow a link so the connected node is displayed and the view focuses on it would be ideal as i don't think there is a way to do that.
What I am in fact doing is adding labels to some links at the connection point so I can invoke the search dialog (the search toolbar doesn't work in my windows installation) and search for that particular tag I created so the node on the other end is selected and then pressing the shortcut key to view selected and shortcut key to see my map back to 100%. it works but it is an involved proccess.
i also tried using pathways for this purpose but it is a machine gun of a solution to kill a mosquito and it is quite involved as well.

Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot for all the great work. i will post some of my maps for anyone interested in seeing other people's use of VUE.
