Adding height and width fields on the formatting palette would give a quick easy way to size nodes to exact dimensions.

+1 from me!

I would add that an nice addition to this (or even an alternative to this) would be a "match width" and "match height" option (perhaps under Format>Node>) so that I could select similar nodes and tell them to resize to match one another, probably the larger of the two.
