I created many VUE files on an old Macbook using VUE version 3.1.2 and now I want to transfer them to my new Macbook where I have a new version of VUE.

I have saved the files in Dropbox, saved them on USBs, but any time I look at the USB or Dropbox folder from my new Macbook, they are not there! They do appear however, when looking from my old Macbook.

Any ideas?

Hi Jane,

Not sure we've all moved macs many times while working on VUE and haven't seen this issue. Is this only isolated to VUE files for you?

Hi Mike,

Yes, it is definitely just VUE files. They were created on my old Macbook using 3.2.1 and they are not visible on my new Macbook (using 3.2.2), or any other computer I have tried. I have stored the files on a USB, on Dropbox. They are always visible on my old Macbook, but not on any other machine.

I have just discovered that if I save the files as .vpk on my old Macbook, they can then be transferred. It's not ideal given that I'll have to do that with all of them, but at least they are not lost.
