I crfeatd a large diagram with 4 different layers. I decided to split it into two different files. I created a new map on a new tab, copied and pasted half of the first map onto the second map, and the layer information was gone.

Is there a way to split into two a map with layers and retain the layer information?

Thanks

Interesting use, unfortunately there's no way to do that.

I thought of an easy workaround. Make a copy of the file and remove a different half from each file. Viola.
