I just downloaded and installed VUE but the program isn't running. After installation, I didn't see the VUE icon on my desktop and I searched ALL programs (Windows 7) and it wasn't listed. I went into the program files and found the folder, dragged the icon to my desktop and when I clicked it, Windows Live Essentials installation popped up and I agreed to its terms but VUE didn't fire up.

What do I do?

I was able to launch the program...but...I get a msg box telling me the program needs a Java environment. So I installed the latest version of Java and VUE will still not open...I keep getting the same msg box about needing a Java environment. I did verify that Java was installed on my computer. How do I tell VUE that Java is there and ready to hook up?

Select properties
select find target (which is where the real application lives)

Right click on the program and either create a shortcut and then drag it to the start menu, or choose send to desk top as a shortcut and then drag the original back to the start menu.

You will then have both. There are other ways to do this, but this will work.

Thanks !!!

I did what you suggested but this step keeps prompting to download program again when I try to open. Please advise.
