Hi folks,
I downloaded and ran the latest release binary and it worked a treat. I was delighted to see RDF/ontology support, but the saved RDF wasn't quite what I expected - e.g. I'd have expected nodes to appears as rdfs:Class instances, and connecting arcs to appear as properties between those instances. Is the current approach as intended, or is it work-in-progress?

Either way I was wondering if the current source was available, expanding the jar reveals Jena classes, I'm fairly familiar with Jena, so would like to play with the code a little. Do you have a public repository?

Hi,

We one capture the rdf triples, i.e. the relationships between the resources. In our model every node is a resource. All the properties and its relationship to the map are captured in rdf. The map saved as rdf doesn't follow any ontology. It is possible to do that and we will be happy to work with you on that.

You can download the latest stable source from:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=113315

We will upload the source code for version 2.0 to source forge site soon.

best wishes,
Anoop

Any status on the source code release yet? I was also interested in a more sophisticated RDF export.

We are investigating a setup where ontology-experts use TopBraid Composer (or Protégé) and lay user can easier contribute RDF-content triples with VUE.

btw: Very nice application, congratulations

I have uploaded the code on sourceforge. You can also check the daily builds with source code from http://releases.atech.tufts.edu/vue/
