I've installed 3.3 but it is asking me to install a legacy version of Java. Is this expected behaviour? I understood from the announcement that Vue should now work on El Cap.

Thanks for keeping it going though. Great tool, and highly valued.

Hello all,

Got a weird issue ...
I installed and successfully run VUE 3.3.0 on linux (RHEL 6.7 using java 8).
Everything runs smoothly except for when I try to open a saved file. Just using 'recent open files' or 'Open file ...' doesn't work.
So I tried 'Open from URL using 'file:///path/to/the/file' and then it loads. Can't figure out what the problem is.

I read in the Technical Problems and Bug Reports about similar issues in earlier versions in the thread VUE doesn't open files initially and wondered if this is a known issue/problem?

Otherwise it looks like a really nice and very good application. Good work!

If you need log files or traces, let me know.

Same here on Ubuntu Gnome 15.10. I have tested also on Bunsenlabs (Debian), and it is the same issue. Loading has issues.

Thank you a lot for maintaining the project!
I just finished my PhD where it was helpful, and am teaching in University using VUE both as a tool for my students and as tool for my own presentations of contents and relations.
Best greetings from Peru.
