Sandra,

The interactivity of the HTML is that you're be able to read node notes in rollovers (if you have any) and click on URL resources and go to those resources. What other features were you looking for in the HTML export?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks. Well that answers my question. I had links to files but it would appear that I won't be able to have them accessible from the wiki. I may have to create me own website and then upload the files into a folder. Sandra

Hi all -- I'm using VUE 3.2.2 now, and trying to do more or less the same things that have been discussed in this thread: I have a VUE concept map that has 7 nodes, and each of those nodes links to another concept map, and each of those maps has 3-5 additional embedded maps, as well as a number of links out to web documents and files.

My strategy so far has been to put all of the files in a web folder -- and this works ok for the straightforward link- or file-in-a-node cases. However, I'm having a few problems I'd love to run by people:
1. Links (i.e. URLs) that are in connection links (the "sticks" of the ball and stick format) do not appear to be working when we save as interactive html document and upload them.

2. Links always open new tabs (is there a way to have a link click to the new page, so that people can navigate these html spaces in the same ways they navigate web spaces, using BACK, for example?)

3. We have been saving our VUE concept maps as .vpk package documents in order to maintain integrity in the links between all these layers. However, it does not appear that the package embeds all of the layers -- just the visible layer -- and so each embedded .vue or .vpk link in my diagram is not opening. Do I need to save EACH of these as HTML docs (this seems likely), and then change all of the resource links to those new URLs? (And is there a batch or search and replace way to do this?)

4. Finally, when I'm saving as "interactive HTML doc," I notice that many of the nodes that are not in currently visible layers also show up when they're moused over. Is there a way to turn that off?

I realize this is a lot of questions; I've been trying to do this for about two years, and finally have the time to sit down and do it. (And I'm not sure whether there's an active usergroup around Tufts/MIT, but I would be happy to come that way if there are still people there messing around with this an into showing each other what they're doing!)
