XP Pro SP2 (Unix box is down for upgrade)
java version "1.6.0_05"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_05-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 10.0-b19, mixed mode)
....
Same error as all the others, "cant create JVM". I only encounter a Java problem when installing VUE_2_1_21_Installer.zip. I run many Java apps. Have you rang InstallAnywhere/Acresso Software support? Checked the KB?

Try running the VUE JAR directly (download at http://releases.atech.tufts.edu/vue/). Please let us know if this works. I am starting to suspect Install Anywhere as the culprit here.

Just an update... The latest VUE installer available from the VUE web site is packaged with an updated JVM. Please try it and let us know if it resolves your issue. Also, we have a special version of the installer which generates additional debug information. You may want to try it as well:
