Although this feature does not exist as you describe it, you can embed a VUE map (map B) inside a node on map A. When you click on the embeded map in the node on map A, map B will open and can become a drill-down of the original node.
I think this example has been described elsewhere in the forum too.
As a newbie to this great software, I'm still experimenting. I went to Windows > Resources then I browsed My Computer for the target to be embedded Vue file and dragged it inside the node.
But I wish there was a way to link to a specific node in the target file.
