Would it be possible to:

  • add text on map presentation (pathway, toggle map/slide node)?

  • select several map node and add it to the map prĂ©sentation (instead of using dynamic frames)? (is it the use of a layer?)

  • when we zoom on the map (presentation mode), by now it's not possible to displace the center focus to another place... (could be interresting to have the ability to navigate through the map during the presentation even if we have zoomed on it...)

  • could it be possible to have the map visible on a slide only for the portion that is currently selectionned by the pathway? (is it possible to use it as a layer?)

  • As you can see, I haven't had enough time to test correctly news features on VUE3.0 prerelease, but maybe layers can already help doing what I'm trying to do... (VUE3.0 preview on linux freezes the computer too often...)

Thank you for the suggestions, Pascal. I will forward them to the development team.

Hi Pascal - here are comments about your first 2 points:

    1) add text on map presentation (pathway, toggle map/slide node)?
-- Because of the underlying architecture - it is harder to do, but we have discussed it as a team in the past and it would indeed be helpful.

    2) select several map node and add it to the map présentation (instead of using dynamic frames)? (is it the use of a layer?)
-- Do you mean to keep multiple nodes looking like nodes on a slide? The only way I was able achieve this is to group nodes on the map first before adding them to a slide. (Then it limits you on how you can interact with the map).

    Best,

    Melanie
