Today I downloaded and used this preview. So I assume it is the most recent one.

If you perform a search on an map that wasn't saved the search results are wrong and shown in a new map regardless the specified options. If you save the map and search again everything works fine.

I hope you can reproduce this error at Tufts.

Hi Werner,

We've fixed a few problems on the search window. Can you please try again with the latest version? I've tried and I don't see the problem you reported in the latest version (2.4 preview 3 as of 5/6/2009).

Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
I like to do so but I am a bit confused what to download. If I click 'Preview Release 4' on the download page I see Vue 2 3 preview 139 as the only option for downloading. So did you guys forget to copy the 4 version to that page?

Thanx, Werner.

Hi Werner,

Instead of the 'Preview Release 4' link, please try 'Daily Build' and choose the latest from the list. Sorry for the confusion; it looks as though the 'Preview Release 4' link hasn't been updated for a while. I'll get that fixed.

Good luck and please let me know if you see any problems remaining on the Search window. We fixed quite a few bugs there.

Regards,
Brian

Hello Brian,
works fine with 2.4 preview 4.

In testing I discovered a small anoyance. My map contains 2 layers. The 1st layer isn't visible, the 2nd layer is. I don't see that because I didn't open the layers window. Then I start drawing using the node tool. This tool then draws in the invisible layer hence you see nothing happening (I discovered this only after a while). Please note that this only happens if you START drawing with the node tool. If one first uses the rapid prototyping everythin is fine.

Hope this helps further improvement.
Werner.
