As of 1:00 PM on May 14 adding new resources to VUE will fail while trying to connect to the Resource provider. The failure is occurring due to the OKI Project's OSID Provider becoming unavailable, it has temporarily gone offline. We will post here when the service has been restored, sorry for any inconvenience.

Any update on this being available again? Can an alternative source be specified / used?

Are you still having problems in the latest builds?

I am using 3b12 daly build on Ubuntu 9.04. On clicking + in resources pane I see "Error instantiating Provider Support", click OK and there is an empty error dialogue. Click OK again then I see add resource dialogue, under FTP is "Loading..." permanently.

I realize this is less than ideal, but if you create a folder called /Library/OsidProviders with sane permissions for yourself this should go away.

I'm using OS X 10.5.8. Should I try something similar? If so, should the folder go in the computer-wide Library or my own user Library?

Scott,

What version of VUE are you using, and what is the error you are getting?

3.0 beta3b11.app

I get the same errors as Craig reported on Oct. 14.
