I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2, Java 6 Update 13, VUE 2.3.1.

The temporary file .~whatever-the-filename-is.vue does not get deleted when I exit vue.

Thanks.

The prior version of the map file is always left around in a temp file just in case something went wrong while saving.

Paranoid, but nice (once I understood it). Thanks.

On terminal of mac, you can clean up temporary files like this:

$ find ~ -name ".~*.vue" -exec rm {} \;

I'm sorry that I don't have Windows environment now.
