Hi, thank you for the great work.
I noticed two bugs in the version 1.4. I am runnin WinXP SP2 on a Centrino base laptop.

1) If I save a map as an .imap file I get ALL local links (to files) on my nodes wrong in the .html page.
They have the URL header "file//:" repeated twice (as in "file//:file://D:...") and won't open. I create the nodes by dragging and dropping the document from the "Data Source" frame onto the map.

2) If I drag and drop a .vue file (a previuosly saved map) from the "Data Source" frame onto the map, the program always changes the drive letter of the file URL to C:, no matter where the .vue file is located. The result is that if the map is not on the C: drive it will not work. I get a non existing file mesage dialog.

Cheers,
KK

Re 2):

Are you sure, that the URL associated with the respective nodes refer to "C:"? On 1.5 final I'm struggling with a similar (same?) issue.

However, VUE shows an odd behavior. I'm working with a document management system (M-Files) that makes file accesses transparent through a separate virtualized file system ("M:"). If target files in VUE are on other volumes ("C:", external harddrive, or virtual TrueCrypt volume), then everything is fine. If, however, they are on the M-Files volume, then VUE bails with "File not found" refering to the file as "C:....". However , the URL in the contents window clearly is correct.

Wonder whether this is a JDK issue in fact since I guess VUE is leaving all URL handling to the standard classses.

Sorry, I was wrong. The problem is with the type of file not the type of volume. VUE won't launch .vue except if on "C:". Any other type can be located anywhere but double-clicking on a node that refers to a .vue file on another volume gives a "File not found" error with a "C:..." path even though the URL for the node is correct.

Verified for 1.5.36 as well as 1.5.5 Beta.
