When I try to save a VUE map on Mac OS X, I get a vpk file which size seems to indicate that resources used in the map are saved. On opening the vpk with a PC, I only get the map without the resources.
Any idea on what is going wrong ? Or what I am not doing correctly ?
VPK files are always supposed to contain their content and be openable on any platform, so if that's not working it's definitely a bug. Unfortunately we've so far been unable to reproduce the problem here -- is there any way you could provide us with one of your VPK save files that isn't working so we could diagnose the issue?
This message to close the thread. I tried again to create a very simple map including a picture with my Mac OS X. I saved it in vpk. I then opened without a problem on my PC. I supposed that last time, VUE had not finished saving the vpk file when I took out my usb key.
