I'd love there to be an adjustable grid overlay that could be used to align nodes in an even pattern, at even distances from each other. It would save me a lot of time when trying to align nodes diagonally and would just make it much easier to make everything neat. Grid size might be adjusted via a slider, ala photo size in iPhoto.
Great product by the way. Getting some great comments on my mind maps.

James,
Thanks for the feedback. We'd love to incorporate a more robust grid option as well, if time permitting. In the meantime, have you tried the Arrange/Table option under the format menu? It doesn't allow you to adjust distance between nodes, etc, but at least will align in a grid with equal distance if your nodes are the same size.

Thanks,
Carla

Thanks for the reply Carla. I've given the Arrange/Table option a go and it will partially achieve what I need. Thanks.
On other matters, how about an easy option to make all nodes the same size and shape of your choice?

Another vote for a grid as a way to manually size and arrange nodes.
