Can we have a simpler XML export that just iterates the nodes with IDs and links between them as nodeID pairs? We are using Vue quite succesfully for developing virtual patients and would like to get a tight import/export with our own toolset Labyrinth (http://labyrinth.mvm.ed.ac.uk) which we are hoping to take open source sometime in 2007. It should be a relatively simple development for Vue but would provide very great utility for us and the growing community of VP and game informed learning developers. How about something along the lines of:

<Nodes>
<Node id=1 label=first />
<Node id=2 label=next />
<Node id=3 label=third />
</Nodes>
<Links>
<Link NodeA=1 NodeB=2 />
<Link NodeA=1 NodeB=3 />
<Link NodeA=2 NodeB=3 />
</Links>

Oops code got left out - here it is:

<Nodes>

<Node id=”1” label=”first” />

<Node id=”2” label=”next” />

<Node id=”3” label=”third” />

</Nodes>

<Links>

<Link NodeA=”1” NodeB=”2” />

<Link NodeA=”1” NodeB=”3” />

<Link NodeA=”2” NodeB=”3” />

</Links>
