Hello.

I've started using VUE for a few days and I'm about to give a full lecture tomorrow using it. I like the tool quite a lot.

Is there a public repository where I could get the latest code ? What about bug tracking ?

I've found a few bugs and I would like to contribute.

What revision control do you guys use ?

Cheers,

Alex

Alex,

We make the daily builds available on the releases server. The code on sourceforge is out of date, we're hoping to move to a public source repository soon. For bugs we generally take bugs from users through the forums although we'd also like to improve in this area as well. We're currently still using CVS for sourcecontrol but will probably move to something else when we move to a more public repository.

I'd be interested in hearing more about how you plan to use VUE in your lecture if you care to share.

Hey Mike.

Have you guys decided which source control to use ? if not mercurial and git are really nice ones worth checking out.

I'm taking a graduate class where each student has to give a lecture about research papers.

Creating the mindmap was extremely easy and presenting it was easy enough (no pathways were defined). It is easy to see the context and the connections between different ideas.

Some people were curious about the software :)

Hi, I'm also interested in contributing, is there a more recent version than the one on sourceforge?

We're working on this at the moment and hope to have some news on it soon along with some fixes for a 3.0.1 release. Thanks to those who expressed interest in contributing in some form.

We now have the latest code up on sourceforge and have moved our build process to use SVN on sourceforge, so that will always be up to date going forward. If you are interested in checking out the code, you'll find info here:

https://sourceforge.net/scm/?type=svn&group_id=113315

If you're interested in contributing code, pls PM me or email me at firstname <dot> lastname @tufts.edu and we can discuss that as well.

Thanks,
Mike
