Is plugin development possible in VUE?
I haven't looked at the source code yet (Internet capped!).
I searched the forum but the only topics I get are about VUE as an Eclipse plugin.
What I am looking for is a simple way to add functionality to VUE.
Anybody has an idea?
there is a plugin architecture for adding datasources, but the code is open source (and available via sourceforge) so if you wanted to work on a particular piece of functionality we could talk you through that as well. We've had a number of people in the community contribute code back now.
So I was looking at the same kind of functionality as shown in https://vue-forums.uit.tufts.edu/posts/list/477.page .
I tried using his xsl with java instead. Didn't get much in the produced svg file though.
I assume that the deal is just about mapping the ".vue" xml elements/attributes wit appropriate svg elements/attributes.
However, I'll look into the code.
Maybe if you could give me a hint as to where to start looking for the code that outputs the ".vue" ...
By the way, this is a great piece of software.
If you look at the source code on sourceforge for VUE the lwmapping_1.1 file that explains the mappings between objects and the xml will be he helpful. We use Castor to persist the objects to xml, if you look at SaveAction you'll track down most of the necessary info. There's info in the Developers forum for setting up the project in eclipse as well.
