I'm using VUE to exhaustively map my knowledge of a certain topic. Therefore my workflow within VUE is very dynamic and I continously add new content and rearrange the acutal. Thus, I encountered two things that are very annoying to me and I don't think that they're intentional:
- Selecting and accessing subnodes within parent nodes to edit the content: Sometimes, a single click highlights the subnode, sometimes it rips it out of the parent and the actual context, disturbing the order of subnodes within the parent. I then always have to put it back and bring it into the former position. In some other cases, when I managed it to highlight a subnode without releasing it from the parent accidently, I would expect to access the content by another single- clicking. In these cases, sometimes a single click gives me access to the content, sometimes I face the annoying releasing, sometimes it happens only nothing; and sometimes a double-clicking is necessary to get to edit the content. As you can see, I completely do not understand the concept of accessing and editing subcontent within a node due to it's apparently random behavior. This, in fact, slows my working progess critically down and perturbes the flow of mapping my thoughts. Did other users face this thing as well? Couldn't find any information about that.
- And what seems also buggy to me: If i want to edit the content of a text field, the cursor is always displayed at the wrong position, often a full character ahead, which additionally confuses working.
I hope someone could comment on that and, if it's a bug, it is fixed soon, so I can continue even smoother with that awesome program.
