I have just spent my first day learning VUE, its very good and i can see will be far better than previously used powerpoint flowcharts.
My problem is that in powerpoint you could actually set the page size you were working with.
The only way i can gauge what i am working with is looking at the size of the print , but i would like to know how big it is getting

1) so how do i know how big the map is and can i set the size
2) when I want to print it how am i best to save it?
3) have tried to save it as a pdf , but that seems way too small for me, can i get t saved as a poster size
4) I will need to give it to a 3rd party to print it up into a 1000mm x 1000mm poster ,

Hope someone can guide me on this
its a great program by the way

Hi Julie,

You can't set the size of a map it grows to fit the content.

2) when I want to print it how am i best to save it?
3) have tried to save it as a pdf , but that seems way too small for me, can i get t saved as a poster size
4) I will need to give it to a 3rd party to print it up into a 1000mm x 1000mm poster

I see your problem here, I think your best bet is to do Save as -> "Interactive Web Graphic" which will output some HTML you can throw away and a PNG file, when you output to this format it'll ask you the size you want to make the PNG and you should be able to size it for your poster this way.

Mike
